Not sure if we have an "average" weight for foxers, what does your little one weigh?
I would imagine they are larger than greys though. :thinking
Two years ago, I had 4 little greys and they ALL weighed over 200 grams and their eyes were still
closed.:eek
Another year I had 4 little greys and was thrilled that one got to 100 grams on my daughters birthday,
and he opened his eyes that day!
Not sure there is an "average" or if there is, that it's accurate. :)
edit: I found this, though I'm not sure it's specific to fox squirrels.
Birth: between 15 & 25 grams
1 week: between 25 & 60 grams
2 weeks: between 60 & 70 grams
3 weeks: between 70 & 80 grams
4 weeks: between 80 & 120 grams
5 weeks: between 120 & 150 grams
6 weeks: between 150 & 250 grams
7-8 weeks: greater than 250 grams
.............. this is based on Average Weight - and can vary

:thankyouWish I saw this earlier so hard to find info on fox squirrels.
My fox squirrels are between 5 to 7 weeks old.
My 5 week olds are average about 160
My 7 week olds are average about 300
Pretty much on target. :great

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your replies to my post... I am just wondering if I was feeding him enough... I went by the charts for feeding him so I am thinking those cheap syringes { I've gone through at least 20 of them cause the plunger tips would pop off when I would try to load them } I know now that he was not getting a full 1cc per syringe... All I could come up with was a 3cc syringe { the good type that uses a o-ring to make the seal on the plunger} so I cut a 1cc syringe tube in front of finger pulls, chucked the tube in my hobby vice, carefully drilled into the end I just cut to increase the diameter of the inside of the tube {only about 1/4 of a inch } then pressed that 1cc end which was about 3" long onto the 3cc o-ring type syringe. Works Great !!! Most importantly I am VERY,VERY, CAREFUL !!! At least now I can say that he is receiving the proper amount... AND NOT TO MUCH !!! I even put a little cooking oil on those plungers in those cheap syringes and they would stick... AND YOU KNOW IT TOOK ME 3 TIMES AS LONG TO TYPE THIS AS IT DID TO MODIFY THAT SYRINGE!!! THANK ALL OF YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLIES...
