Sorry I wasn't sure where to post this since it's more about caring for humans than for squirrels, but: My wife and I rescued a baby in late summer and he's been with us ever since. Everything has been a blast except the claws. We're tough enough to handle the occasional scratch and warm layers have been protecting us well enough since the fall but we've been getting a little scared thinking about trying to stay protected from surprise jumps/climbs in the spring and summer without roasting! Any tips on materials that aren't too hot but also claw-resistant?? Cute pictures for good answers. Thanks :grin2

No your either going to be hot or get scratched, getting scratched just comes with the territory.

Your speaking about staying protected in the (coming) spring and summer...
Is there any debilitating reason why you won't be releasing him?
