I'm not sure if this is already listed here or not but what a great tool to have when people come to the board asking for help in their area. If we know the city they are located in, we just enter it in (or have them access the site) and it gives a listing for all types of rehabbers for wildlife. There is also an app that can be downloaded so you will always have access to the site when you need it.
If you are a rehabber and you find that you aren't listed on their site for your area, they even have a place you can click and have your info added to the database. Depending on the area searched, there are even wildlife vets listed in the database.

This is a GREAT resource. There are posters available from AHN. A great thing to give to your vet.

It looks wonderful, but just a word of caution:

not all rehabbers and rehab centers are created equal.
Some are great: strive to use the best practices, do their best to help every creature that comes their way.
But there are enough of those rehabbers who use the wrong methods, and there are centers that have high-euthanasia rate.

So, as the situation permits, it is a very good idea to first gather more info about a given rehabber/center if possible before bringing anyone to them. And if possible - get some references. Of course, when there is no information or references are unavailable - one does the best one can and take chances.
But if it is not an emergency, it is better to try and look for more info about a given rehabber/center.

There is a running list of good and bad rehabbers/centers on this board. It is not by any means exhaustive, but still useful.

You are exactly right. As far as I'm concerned, this board is the ansolute best place to find help for a baby squirrel. And everyplace has rehabbers that really shouldn't be allowed near any animal. Even so, it's a place to start for those who have no resources at all.
