Does anyone here in the Tampa/Central FL. area have babies right now?

We received a single and she is doing great.
Her nose bleed stopped days ago, she has been eating well, has gained 18 Grams and her eyes just opened on Valentines Day.
While she is cute as a button and we love having her we know it's best for her to have some pals.
We'd love for her to go somewhere with and have friends to grow up with.
Anyone have a single or small group that could adopt a little sister?

Let us know if you have a group that could add her.

Thanks!

She can be seen in the thread below.

Hope she finds some buddies, it's probably just a matter of time.
She is adorable by the way... :Love_Icon :grin2

Yes she is....
The longer it takes the less chance we deliver her somewhere. :D

These are her latest.
Her sleeping buddy and a milk coma right after feeding her.
She rolled over in my palm and was out like a light.

Ok here is an update on little Peyton.
She's doing great. No more issues, very vocal, very feisty and a piggy at meal time!

In the beginning we tried to find a home with others for her and had no takers.
Now of course were hooked on her. So let me try another angle to find her a partner to be with through the release process.

Does anyone out there have a group of babies at this point where we could take some responsibility off your hands by taking one of them to be a partner with Peyton?
I know some of you on here know rehabbers in the Tampa area that do not come onto these boards. If you could put the word out that we would be willing to take a baby off their hands please do so. She's a little sweetheart and deserves a lil buddy. She's about 8 weeks at this point.

Oh she is a cutie for sure.:klunk
I do hope that she gets a little buddy soon.
I would be surprised if you don't get one really soon
that could be paired up with Peyton. Fingers crossed. :w00t

Well we got little Peyton a buddy!
A little boy named Dash who is a complete sweetheart!

Thanks to Nana for setting it up and to Harley's mom for giving up her little Dash so Peyton could have a partner!

On another note....

We got this rope with a hanging ball as a toy in the dollar store and this thing has been a favorite of every single squirrel that has come through here.

Dash looking in awe after seeing the hanging ball for the first time. You can almost hear him thinking "Wow! What is this?"

It's already Peyton's favorite toy

I will have to look for those! it looks similar to the hanging "ringy strawberries" that Nancy in NY found, but they don't make them anymore. :hissyfit Owena loves hers so much; I dread the day that she finally disembowels it because I think this is #9 and there are no more out there!

I'm chuckling at your description of an 'early baby'-- it was never winter here!! No more calls from the ER vet? I'm sad about my decision not to take babies this season, although it's still the right choice for our family. But if you ever need a squirrel sitter, or help with intake on my side of town for squirrels you're willing to ultimately take, you can call me! I still have all supplies- except my baby bin which I believe is with you. I'll get a new one ready just in case. Please say 'hi' to Squammy for me! I miss seeing/ talking with you guys! Take care--

Hi Cesta!

We've had a couple calls but not many....... yet.
I hope you're doing well.

I don't know if you were able so see but I sent you pics via PM of your little girl we released with Hootie.
She and Hootie are doing great and have stayed very close to the release site.
They see your girl every day and give her treats!

Squammy says hello!
Hopefully we will see you some point soon.
We'll do a tandem handoff the next time the vet calls so you can get some squirrel time and we can come over and see you! :grin2

Sounds great! So glad Hootie and Stinky are doing well. It was so cool that we were able to bring them together as sibs and they're still together in the trees. :serene
