With all the wildlife violations and poachers doing evil and unlawful things to animals right in that area I'm sure.....
This lady is getting the shaft helping animals.....
Helping because no one that could facilitate her doing the right thing would accept them.......

I already signed one but will sign some of the others. When I turned on the TV this morning, this was the first story that came on (in FLORIDA). Of course, they had the story completely wrong. They said she was fighting to KEEP the squirrels. It's my understanding that she surrendered them to wildlife officers the day they came. She's fighting the harsh fines and possible jail.

As a taxpayer, this just smokes me. Seriously, we pay people to do this. Where has common sense gone. Oh, that's right... there is NONE! :shakehead

Thank you to all who signed , I messaged Maria on FB she is confused ,and looking for ways to stop this from happing in the future.....
She also fell head over heals for a creature she never thought would steel her heart until she had her encounter, she is open to any advise that comes her way, I plan to follow the story and be there for her as needed!

The first thing people need to do is learn the laws (right or wrong) in their State pertaining to wildlife.
In most States it is illegal to possess wildlife regardless of good intentions, the welfare of the animal is not considered.
The second and most important is if you have taken in wildlife, don't talk about it, don't publicly advertise it, and don't
put it on facebook!
