I would like to give my outdoor squirrels some variety. I've been serving large dishes of Kaytee brand for a while now. Would anyone be willing to provide me with a link to a good alternative?

I am looking for an "all you can eat" type block rather than a kind that recommends only giving a limited number a day. This is because there's no way for me to know for sure if one very hungry squirrel is going to eat many more than expected. A link is ideal since I do tend to buy the wrong products even when shopping for people food. The two places that I can definitely buy blocks are Petco and online. Thanks!

(Believe it or not, despite living outside in the trees, etc., the squirrels around here still stop by and eat blocks that I provide.)

I'm pretty sure the Mazuri block in the purple bag are good for squirrels:great we have ordered them online...they come in a 50 lb bag...we fed them to our opossums:great if your squirrels eat blocks...I think they will eat these:grin3

Thanks, but do you mean the rat and mouse kind, the guinea pig kind, or something else? I pasted a link to the Petco selection below (both mentioned kinds are in the bottom row): http://www.petco.com/shop/SearchDisplay?categoryId=&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&sType=SimpleSearch&resultCatEntryType=2&showResultsPage=true&searchSource=Q&pageView=&beginIndex=0&pageSize=24&fromPageValue=search&searchTerm=mazuri After reading the ingredients, I suspect the rat and mouse one, but would rather confirm than assume, esp. if there is another kind that I'm not considering.
