Has anyone ever heard of dosing a squirrel with Dimetapp (sp?)?

Also, what do you feel about the use of Albuterol in a nebulizer? It does cause heart rate increase so I am not to keen on the idea, but wondered how others felt about it.

I have heard of neosyneprine. And there is a rehabber on here that has a protocol for oral turbetuline ???? Breathene ?

I do not know about squirrels, but OTC children's cold and/or allergy meds are used for rats/mice. Also, Nebulization using Albuteral is used for rats/mice.

I believe Loopy Squirrel has used Albuterol Often for squirrels. I'll check with her and maybe she'll post an answer.
