trouble with uploading pictures

I figured out how to put a picture for my profile but it's sideways. How do I make it straight? And I still can't get my Samsung s4 to add pics to my album. Any tips?

ya, that!! :rotfl I finally got a "real" phone, and discovered it takes great pics, but I don't have a clue how to put them on here!!

Can you email them to yourself then put them on with a computer? That's what I do!
