Hello all, I was holding my flyer girl tonight Ariel and I can clearly feel her nips which i never have before. Does this mean she is preggers?

If she is putting on weight, nesting and pulling the hair out around her nipples then I would say yes..

Are these siblings?

We are not sure there were 4 of them when they came to me but we lost one right away to a head injury. All were found on the same property but different locations. We think there may have been many more that were dumped with the brush. The property was almost clear of trees when we were done. I hope they aren't. From the same colony I'm sure but siblings? Im clueless

My girl is so unbalanced when she is trying to climb. :grin2 Her new found extra grams have her wobbly. Not bad wobbly but like a human female with the 3rd trimester "duck waddle" She is still allowing boys by her and in nest box although today they move out at dinner time. BACHELOR'S PAD! No change in attitude which has me wondering is she us just fat. Anyway to tell definite pregnancy other than the nips being out? She sleeps alot and every night eats what she wants then shreds the paper plates and takes it with her to her box. So thats a sign right? Idk. Any suggestions? Giving more protein and calcium to her and just waiting to see. Isn't it very late in the year for flyers to breed?

It is a little late in the season for babies. But a flyer in captivity does not know what season it is. Sounds like she is nesting if she is shredding the paper plates. Watch for hair loss around her nipples. If she turns on your male it means it is time to take him out and put him in a different cage. Keep us posted and we will want baby pics.
