Hi everyone, My 8 week old flyer is starting to act strange using her front paws. She don't seem to want to move around like she was. She also is staring to slow down on drinking her formula. It has me worried. I worry she might becoming calcium deficient. I have some calcium powder. It is 100 percent natural oyster shell Phosphorus- free, Calcium Carbonate with Vit D3 added. Is this the kind of calcium I am suppose to give her. What if I don't know for sure she is starting to have this problem. She I go a head and start her on it just for the safe side. Please help me. Thank you so much. Debra

What exactly is her formula? I ask because if it is the right kind for a squirrel, she should not be calcium deficient at all.

The calcium with Vitamin D may be a problem as too much is toxic to squirrels, so it is important to know how much Vt D is in there. If unsure and she needs calcium I would suggest using Tums (without the Vit D!!!).

This is important: What is her diet? Be specific on what she eats and how much.
