So I've had jay since he was about 2 weeks old and he is now 7 weeks old. Before his eyes opened I used a aquarium to keep him. Once his eyes opened we built him a cage. We put branches in there and have them so he can climb all over. We also added a small Hamic just incase closer to the top of the cage. He just started hhb last Thursday I've been giving him one in the morning that he more less plays with and i add one in the afternoon bc once they get hard he really doesn't want anything to do with thim. I've noti two things. He likes to sleep on the heat in the morning time and late after he gets in the hamic but doesn't stay there threw the night. In the hamic is the only place I've seen him really start eating on his hhb. So should he still have heat and should I let him eat his block in his hamick. The heat I'm not sure the average age they no longer need it.

I always leave the heat available to them until they no longer use it. You can let him eat HHBs wherever he wants to eat them. You can save a bit of money by cutting one in half and giving half in the morning and half later on in the day.

Thank you very much! I was worried to take his heat to soon. and my husband was worried he'd start stashing his blocks but so far he doesn't leave any in there just crums. At this age do they still sleep for a few hours at a time? I do play time 3 x a day and here and there threw the day when he is up on his own moving. I try to keep him out as much as I can when he's up and playful
