Earlier when I went to check on Julius, I noticed he wasn't acting himself. Normaly anytime I near his cage, he rushes forth and before I can even fully open the door he is already perched on my shoulder. At this very moment he is curled up on my chest under the covers not really sleeping but just laying. He's been taking his formula, blocks and food just fine. Eating everything. I haven't started fruits or nuts yet. He is making a clicking sound, but it sounds more like it's coming through his mouth and not his chest!? I don't know how or when he could have aspirated. I'm always careful, unless it was from drinking out of the water bottle I have hanging in his cage!? I'm really worried about my little fella!!

What veggies has he had? Anything new that might not be agreeing with him? What formula are you feeding and which blocks?

Esbilac, he's been on since July, when I received him.
Veggies: Snap Peas, Green beans, Mushrooms (mushrooms I started last week), Brocolli, Cauliflower. Carrot every once in awhile.
I'm worried it might be pneumonia. The click is so faint but I can't think of anything else. I don't know where to get medicine from. I'm not licensed and there aren't any rehabbers close by. The only place I can think to take him is the vet school/lab at the college!? (LSU) And that's only if they'll take him. I'd hate to give him up, but if I have to, to ensure he'll live then I will.

Regardless of how faint... is the click consistent with his breaths?
Check your meds, ask friends, family, if they have any type antibiotics.
It only takes a pill or two and we can tell you if it can be used or not.
Many times people have left overs because they don't take all their scrip.
Cipro is one some woman have on hand for uti.
Not sure what your dealing with but at least if you do need an ab you
can get ahead of a game...

I didn't want to chance anything, he seemed so lethargic, so I called the LSU small animal hospital they have on campus (they have a wildlife rehabilitation department) and they said I could bring him in and they would call someone to come in to look over him and give him medical attention.
I had to sign him over since I'm not a licensed rehabilitater and verify that he wasn't a pet. I did give them all his info though. When I found him, how long I've been caring for him, formula, food, etc. I figured withholding anything wouldn't be beneficial to his well-being and if I get in trouble, oh well. At least I know he will be okay. The only thing that sucks is not knowing of his progress, watching him grow, or being there for his release. They said I could call back and they might be able to tell me if he is okay. She said it was against the rules and such, since I signed him over, but more than likely they'll let me know.
It's been an experience. He was my first squirrel, and today marked the 10th week he's been in my care! (70 days!) I'm going to miss him very much!!

In the off chance that this turns into a situation where a rehabber could pick him up, I found a list here, http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/wildlife/rehab I personally do NOT know any of them and I always recommend asking upfront what their course of action will be if they get involved before requesting assistance.
