I have a cat caught baby who is on Clavamox. She needs to take it for 10 days. Will the solution last that long, or should I make new at some point? Thanks!

It says any unused portion to of the reconstituted suspension
must be discarded after 10 days.Keep in frig. So you should be good.

Are you asking about the reconstituted solution the pharmacy would mix OR an at home compounded solution from a tablet?
I've wondered the same thing since most my meds are from tablets I crush and compound

It's a homemade solution, has been kept in the fridge, needs to be taken for 10 days. H4S agreed with Grinder that it should stay good for the full 10 days.

I believe 10 days is the max, tho-- and it has to be kept in the fridge.

I have used solutions for 2 weeks and had no ill effects but I would not go much over that. 10 days is the normal recommended lifespan for AB solution made from crushed tablet.
