Heating Pad Qustions

My little guy Dibble (5-6 wks) has been moving off the heated area of his squirrel "tub" frequently over the past 2 days. Is it time to discontinue the heat? Just offer it at night? What is the usual time frame for their ability to regulate their body temps?

He is getting close to that age.

Try putting it only under one fourth of the tub or.. Turning it down a notch. That is usually the age we begin to wean from heat.

However, as a singleton he may need it still - but could turn down or under 1/4 of the tub.
