% Weight to mL Formula

Hello everyone!

I have a 4 week old foxer girl who is 5.7 ounces (161.6 grams). Can anyone share the math formula y'all use to move from % body weight they need per feeding to the number of mL they need per feeding? 5% of her body weight is 8.08 grams. 7% of her body weight is 11.31 grams. I understand that math. Now how the heck do I convert that to mL???? :confused:

You just did. The answer you get when figuring the 5-7% is the number of mL you feed.:thumbsup

Wow. That was easier than I thought it would be. Thanks Milosmom!!! Now, at 4-5 weeks she should be eating every 4 hours, right?

It kind of varies per squirrel so I usually allow them to tell me, but for general purposes yes, 4 hours is a good place to start.
