Can you post a picture?

Have to you checked her teeth to make sure they are not too long?

Any ideas why she may be developing an abscess?

How old is this baby, how long have you had her?
As Spanky asked, what condition is her teeth in?
The majority of time mouth problems are related to
teeth. A picture would be helpful to determine this.

If the teeth are hitting the roof of the mouth (soft palate) the teeth can puncture the palate. This causes a bad infection due to the usual bacteria in the mouth and also food lodging in the wound is a contributing factor.

Your baby needs antibiotics ... either Clavamox or Clindamycin. Depending on the severity it also might need draining and debridement. The teeth will need to be trimmed also.

Yes, a vet would be nice.

In reference to Lucy, got home and trimmed her teeth. Not a hard process at all. Trimming first tooth no problem trimmed second to no problem what we thought was an abscess was a peanut stuck under her front teeth! Lucy now has a beautiful smile and is so happy and running and doing her usual thing thank you everybody for your help
