Hello everyone. I have a 2.5 year old that is showing a lot of aggression after I came back from a 5 day vacation. She was already being moody because mid August she went into estrus and during that time she typically despises me. But now I can't even go into the room. Do you think her hormones are still raging (her vulva isn't swollen anymore)? Any tips to calm her down? She seems to be sort of okay in the evening but very food aggressive and territorial during the day (though she seems only slightly moody with my husband). I got back on the 8th.

Who was caring for her in your absence?? Was she given her regular free-time while you were gone ? Hopefully --with caution & a lot of love...she will return to her normal self....

Another person was caring for her. She has done so before and she is perfectly fine with that person. She could not have her regular free time when we were gone and had to be confined to her room. She has seizures when she is over-stimulated (including being allowed in other rooms since my bedroom is her safe spot), even on medication, and we felt it would be the lesser evil to confine her than to have her seizing while we weren't nearby. Again, she's perfectly fine in the evening if just a little fussy but does a complete 180 in the mornings. Last night she even played with me. This morning I'm not allowed in my room. She's a little diva. :tap
