I am currently caring for a 3 week old. He is doing well. I've done many through the years, but have never had the question answered--what is the longevity of an American Grey Squirrel here in NC? One female I rehabbed about 10 years ago came to the house for 7 years before an neighbor accidentally poisoned her. Does someone know?

I don't believe there is any realistic answers to that. It really varies with squirrels in the wild.
Everything plays a role in their longevity from available food sources, diseases, weather related,
and predators... with mankind being one of the worst unexpected predators they have to deal with.
