I was out feeding Judie when she climbed on my shoulder and "marked her territory" like she does every time she's on me, lol. Anyway, I had a very distinctive blood spot on my shirt. Several hours later during snack time, she did it again and there was more blood.
In her thread I've been talking about the possibility that she may be pregnant. Is it normal for this to be happening??

I tend to say yes. I have many, many wild squirrels that frequent my Squirrel Cafe and a lot of the time my deck looks like a Quentin Tarantino movie. They pee blood all the time and my expectation is that it has to do with the evil hormones.
Things they eat can tinge the urine reddish too - acorns are a BIG one for changing urine color.

Thanks for the reply. I was a little worried about her. She's been hanging out of that nestbox all weekend and it's been entirely too hot to even be in there. She hasn't used that box since mid June... So I wasn't sure if something was wrong with her or not.
