How Often Should You Bathe A Squirrel

I understand that you should wash squirrels with diluted Dawn dish soap, but how often should you bathe a squirrel?

They are pretty clean little creatures. We usually only bathe them if they got into something, and at intake if they have fleas. I have a 6 year old boy who has had ONE bath in his life.
