I've had a pinky since Sunday, & he's been a voracious eater & faithful pee-er & pooper the whole time, until last night. He had a great feeding at about 4 am, then didn't want anything to do with his formula 3.5 hrs later. Waited another hour & tried again. He took about 1/2 his normal dose, & that was almost force-fed. Same thing another 3 hrs later, although he got most of his full dose. Still peeing & pooping great. Still active. Should I be concerned? His weight did go up this morning by 5 g from yesterday.

He is probably a bit dehydrated. Offer him some sugar water, Pedialyte, or honey water between his next two feedings, and see if that helps. :)

Thank you! I appreciate the reply. I did give him some rehydration fluid, but after treating him for bloat. Floated his bottom half in warm water & massaged his belly, eliciting some little squirrel-fart bubbles (!), then gave him 2 drops of simethicone for babies. Was fine in 1.5 hrs! Back to his normal healthy self once he took some fluids. I'm finding that he needs 1 dose of just hydration pretty much every day. Figuring it out!
