We are still trying to learn and adjust her seizure issue. 1 time a week she gets 50iu of D3 and 1/4 of tums. Thats this weeks plans. She got real bad up to 2 per day but we are down to 1 per week. Her diet is Henry blocks for 10am feeding with her 10ML of formula and another block during afternoon romp. At night I fix her a bowl of arugula, avocado, cantaloupe, apple, romaine lettuce, Brussels sprouts, purple cabbage, bok choy, tomatoes, blueberries, ect To that she get one nut. She gets 4-5 of the fruit/veggies choices and the nut with 10 ML of formula in her sleeping nest. Whats left in AM I put when she get up for the day. We are fixing her a room now....almost ready. For now she has chosen the couch as her tree. It has tunnels, toys, squirrel houses, ect in/on the couch. Its a squirrel playground. She still cannot jump off 12" or more, causes seizure to climb down from fear I suppose. Is starting to show a little interest in climbing a couple of feet up. I think she is around 8 months old now.
Heres my ??? In the last few weeks her tail seems to not be as bushy as it once was. No bald patches or missing fur its just not pretty and bushy. Am I causing this? She cleans it a lot after eating. Can I do anything to make it fluffy again?

Their tails molt once a year right around this time... do you think this could be what is happening? My bet it that is all this is... :thumbsup

I agree. They get their summer coats which are more golden-colored, flatter and sleeker, and the bushy winter tails go away. It will be back, never fear!

Hey MBP! I've been wondering how your little Peanut has been doing - so happy to hear she is still doing well and you are working out a routine for her. :) I'm sure she will just love having a room of her own when you get it finished. :thumbsup
Regarding her tail, Angel actually JUST went through a tail molt himself - in fact, I found hair all over his hammock and I got a little concerned about all the hair loss until I noticed his tail - it does look a little smaller now and has even changed color. It is his "summer" tail. Even though he is not outside, his coat still goes through changes with the seasons, similar to a wild squirrel. I think it has something to do with the length of days or the position of the sun that triggers their bodies to do this, even though their indoor climates don't really change.

Thank you all...I feel better now I was concerned I was not doing something right in her diet. I can't wait to get her room done. Its almost time to put the Gym in. I bought a squirrel house to go in there. I m planning on attaching it to a platform so she can lay stretched out like she likes to do or go in. I will put in levels from the floor up to the house so she can climb easily. Im going to put in fabric between platforms just in case a seizure hhits. She usually comes to me before a bad seizure. I hug her and walk with her till its passed. I would love to take her outside but she seems terrified of it. Thats would sure to cause a seizure.
Until the room is complete she rules the couch, sleeps in her tote from her baby era and get lots of rubs and scratches from mom and dad at night time. She isnt to keen on getting petted when she is on HER couch. She actually did bite me for sitting on it once. I learned my lesson and she does need her "own" space. So we have a understanding...I don't sit on her couch and she wont bite me...lol... I also learned when chattering leave the room...lol... I would love to know how to tell when she is happy. She seems to like her evening pettings and her food and formula but I want to know when she is happy. Like a sound or certain look. Thanks again everyone....I look forward to seeing her bushy tail again. Its not so pretty now.
