Hi Bobby, it's great to see you! :hug
Wished I could help you with the answer, but I'm not sure. :dono
But if they like them, I would suspect they aren't good. :grin2

I was in the middle of writing you and hit a key and everything went crazy. Hope all is will with you and good to talk to you too. The figs on our tree and starting to get ripe and I brought one in this morning for everyone to try even Sally and she really liked it. She didn't eat a lot but some for sure. I have not seen figs posted anywhere so I naturally started worrying. Hopefully someone out there in Squirrelville will know.

Hi there: fresh figs are not only O.K. for squirrels, but a naturally occuring fruit they would eat in the wild. It offers tons of fiber and other minerals they need. Dried figs on the other hands, can concentrate their amount of fructose per unit weight, so if you have dried figs, ration the amounts you give them to control the caloric intake.

We get candied/sugared figs here in Costa Rica, but only for a month around Christmas time. We wash off the sugar coating and cut them into small pieces for our CREW.
