Hi guys :)

I have 2 grey squirrels that I am planning on releasing soon. They are about 11 to 12 weeks of age 370g & 410g (probably a bit more since i took the weight on june 4th) and weather permitting by next wednesday they should go in their release cage.

I want to apply a treatment of revolution before they go out just to give them an extra bit of help for the 1st month of liberty without having to scratch and not sleep properly. Everybody knows a good night of sleep if beneficial to ALL ... hahaha.... i would do it afterwards too but doubt that they will let me catch them !

So i have the 0,25 mL tube of Revolution 60mg (yup the one for small animals). I was told to apply 0,125 mL to each squire but that is more than the small drop that i have seen advised on the squirrel board.

Does anyone know the correct dosage ?

Thanks for all of your help :)

I have always done 2 drops. The trick is to get it right on their skin. I usually put the drops on something glass (bottom of a drinking glass works) then suck them up with a syringe. The end of the syringe helps get right down to the skin and I know that if the animal jerks I am not going to accidentally dump an entire container on him!

Ok did the "treatment" ! Had the help of my hubby to hold them but they are not used to him so it was a little chalenge.

How the heck can you get to the skin... that fur is tight and abouncious !!!! Never saw the skin lol.

Ended up putting 2 drops on my finger and rubbed it between shoulder blades for 5-10 secs.

Hope it will help them start their new life without scratching themselves crazy, they are going in the release cage tomorrow :(

I better not find them dead from this product tonight or tomorrow !

Thanks again for the advice :)
