According to Wild Mammal Babies that would put the little thing at around 5 weeks, and they recommend 5-7% 3-4 times a day. They are recommending a 50/50 blend of Esbilac and Multimilk - I am not sure why - WMB is several years old...

What do we need to know about caring for him in the long-term? Cages? Weaning foods?

I have a licensed rehabber right here in West Haven who has the COOLEST set up for groundhogs and she LOVES them. Would you be willing to let her take him?

Gayle beat me to the punch, I have a baby about this same age and I'd love to have another one so they could be together. I'd be willing to meet half way, in Caramel NY or something.

If you do decide to feed him/her, please be VERY VERY VERY careful, they suck really hard and aspirate easily.

Gayle can you show me the groundhog setup?

The baby was brought to the rehabber Gayle mentioned, thank you all for your help :)
