My little Sammys belly seems to be getting bigger over the past two days. Is he just gaining weight and chubbing up or should I be worried of a health issue? He seems to not be acting sick in any other way. Slightly soft stools but he kind of always has. He was 1.6 ounces last Saturday and today he was 2.0 ounces. He is drinking goats milk combo and some veggies and rodent block.

Should I give him gas X tomorrow (Id have to go get some as I don't have some on hand). Would it hurt him if he was bloated or not?

He may just be gaining weight and I'm worried for nothing but I just want to make sure!! This poor little guy has been through so much.:(

Is his belly hard like a rubber ball or soft like a water balloon ?

He is sleeping all curled up in his fleece blanket so I don't want to wake him! :)

But I'm thinking water balloon??

Please be careful not to over feed. That can cause bloat. Bloat is very dangerous and can be deadly. You should feed 5-7% of the body weight per feeding. Example: a 100g squirrel should be fed 5-7ml of formula per feeding.
