The original Rules of Our Forum and additional Rules of Conduct have been updated below.

RULES OF OUR FORUM:

Yep, everyone has rules. Here are ours!

We welcome those of you that would like to contribute positive information, promote good will, and help keep this board as something we can all be proud of. If you're not interested in the same goals, you are welcome to leave... the sooner the better.
Squirrel "Bashing" is not allowed.
Please respect the other member’s opinions and his or her rights to post them, even if they differ from yours. Please extend the degree of courtesy that is expected on a board of this nature. We have certain expectations of our members, one of which is to maintain the current atmosphere that we have created. Creating a disruption to this atmosphere is likely to be viewed as unacceptable behavior and you may be asked to leave the board.
Administration reserves the right to edit or delete any thread that is deemed inappropriate.
We care NOT if you like people who have squirrels as pets or not. This board is for the enjoyment of everyone. If you have a pet squirrel and need help with its health, please feel free to ask for help. If you have a problem with people that keep squirrels for pets, please leave.
Linking back to your website in your signature or advertising yours (or another) website in a post, is permitted as long as your site(s) provide a link back to The Squirrel Board. There are no exceptions to this rule. Deviate and you are subject to be banned.
Only one "user name" per member is allowed. Anyone creating multiple user names is subject to be banned.
With the exception of "properly bred" Flying Squirrels, TSB does not endorse squirrel sales. We consider it atrocious that there are those who would take babies from nests found in the wild and attempt to sell them on the open market. Even raised in captivity, very few squirrels would ever become good pets.
The Private Message system is accessible only to those members who have made posts.Private Messaging is a privilege, not a right. TSB values the right of members to communicate privately, however if TSB believes this service is being used to hurt or harrass any member, Administration reserves the right to restrict usage and/or content of PM’s on a per user basis.
If a member gives their email, home address or telephone number(s) to another member, TSB is not responsible for any exchange of content.

IR's RULES OF CONDUCT:

1. Administration reserves the right to edit or delete any thread that is deemed problematic, inappropriate, or bad for TSB. This is not open for debate.

2. Any post that attacks another member is subject to deletion and the poster is subject to a timeout or permanent ban. Administration reserves the right to judge what defines an "attack", and this is not open for debate.

3. Sharing or forwarding PM's or any part of a PM, except to Administration, is not allowed and will not be tolerated.

4. Every member of TSB will follow the General Rules as stated in Squerly's sticky at the top of this Forum. Anyone who breaks, bends or disregards these rules WILL be banned for whatever time frame is deemed appropriate.
