Should I be giving Squatchy baths?
If so,
How often?
Do I put dawn in it?
Just curious ; he sorta stinks and gets his formula all over :grin2

He should be thoroughly wiped down with a damp rag after each feeding. If you leave the formula sitting on his skin, believe it or not it will burn him and he will lose the hair in that area. Mama squirrel sure does it after feedings! I just liked to use plain clear warm water and a piece of a washcloth.
If he is bad now and you need to get him clean, yes, a very small amount of Dawn in warm water in a shallow basin and hold him to make sure he does not slip. You will need to dip him clear water several times to make sure you get ALL of the soap out. Do all this someplace it is nice and warm, use warm water, and dry him As quickly as you can. I like to wrao them like a burrito in several layers of paper towel and then a little towel and just hold them and love on them for a few minutes. The paper towels will suck a LOT of th water from the fur.
After that, remember, a full sponge bath after feeding. :thumbsup

Is it ok to use a small amount of baby wash (very little, about ¼ tsp in about 3 cups of water) in some warm water? Using a baby cloths to rub them down then a one to rinse wipe them.

Yes, just make sure you RINSE well with clear water. You don't want any soap residue left on their skin.

Thats a good thing. Was wanting something that is not so harsh on their skin like dish soap is.
