No! Skin and pits (seeds) are toxic. Never give them pits or skins from avocado :nono, only the "meat".

Absolutely NOT, no, never! The seeds and the peel of avocado have a toxin in them called persin and enough will sicken or even kill your squirrel. The meat of the fruit is fine, just the seeds and peel.

This is quite common - apple seeds have arsenic in them and the pits of cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines and apricots (and the various hybrids made from crossing these) all have cyanide in the pits but the fruit meat is just fine.

Thank goodness for this forum! No telling how many near death experiences it has prevented for Snickers; so squirrel ignorant, thank you again!
