Root veggies

Hi All,

My question is about root veggies for "indoor" squirrels. Are sweet potatoes harmful to squirrels? Also, are other root veggies like radishes ok? Someone told me sweet potatoes cause liver/kidney problems in squirrels. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

:) In answer to your specific question about sweet potatoes, you will find them listed in group 3 meaning they should be limited, and most important sweet potatoes "must be cooked" before you offer them. :tilt
