One of my 5-6wk old male Eastern Grays managed to get one of his little toes caught in the corner of his cage. I had to take the cage apart to get it out; he wasn't sure if he wanted to bite me or help me, struggling and turning and twisting etc.

In the photo, the nail of the injured toe is curved under the adjacent toe, towards the camera.

I got him free, he's been licking his toe and holding it close to his chest. I'd like to give him something for pain. I have infant ibuprofen but need help with dosing.
Also, should I take him to the vet tomorrow (we have a safe vet here who will help squirrels) or use the wait-and-see approach.

What is his weight?

I don't have a scale; but attached a photo. Maybe 130g?

I will pm you the chart.
It is the second one down, so make sure you look at the
correct chart and dose according to weight.
ALSO make sure you know exactly where that amount is on a syringe.
IF you have any questions, contact myself or CritterMom via pm.

Hi! I have a little girl who has somehow managed to hurt her paw by falling in her cage. Not a very far fall, at all, but she’s hurt. Can anyone help me with the correct Ibuprofen dosing, as she is 247 grams?
