Aloe Vera isn't toxic to humans (but perhaps some types are?) I have had aloe drinks. :) not sure about it for squirrels but I wouldn't try it if it were my guys

You're right in saying not all aloe are toxic. From what I know and read certain parts are toxic while other parts are not. In some, the inner gel can be used while that juice just under the outer skin is toxic.

I think I'll just keep using it for burn relief unless it's bought at the store. There is plenty of other herb choices to be given to squirrels without any risk involved.

Aloe will make you poop your brains out if ingested. That's why you can buy aloe juice for constipation.

I personally would avoid it even if it's not listed as specifically toxic unless you want diarrhea

I'd say NO to both!
