Two more little girls--3/4 weeks old. One is perfect. One fell on her face. Her nose is bloody and she's congested. Poor nose is swollen. Please take a look. Lady that brought the babies had them since yesterday. She said the little girl isn't eating. Poor thing has to hurt. Lady gave her some Pedialyte and tried to get formula into her (she wouldn't take it at all). I can tell she's congested from the swelling and there's still blood in her nasal passages. Gonna dig out the vaporizer. She took 1cc of formula awhile back and is sleeping all curled up with her sister. I have some nipples for infant possums. That worked. Baby didn't need to open her mouth. She was hungry so that's good. Any suggestions are hugely appreciated.

Oh that poor little schnoz! Pendleton came in like that. He was older, but I had to just put a bit in his mouth and let him swallow it then repeat. He couldn't suck because of his poor stuffy nose. I did use a vaporizer and I swabbed/picked his little nose often. A little bit of vaseline around his nostril will help the blood from sticking to the fur and help to keep it clear.
My goodness, you are hogging all of the babies! Ship a few on up to CT...:Love_Icon:Love_Icon:Love_Icon

Be careful what you ask for. Apparently I'm in charge of door prizes for The Gathering :grin3 I hope the fall didn't mess up her teeth!
