New Squirrels

I have an atrium in the middle of my house and today two adult males decided to fall in from our roof. It actually would be an ideal place for a squirrel to live but these are adults that are use to roaming free. I would like to get them out but am concerned as to how to do that. Animal control will not return my calls. They have water and we have been feeding them but you can tell they are stressed by being in there. Any suggestions?

Can they reach the place that they fell in from?? You might try putting a rope up to the whole and if possible put some food at the top of the whole and/or rope. Just an idea, maybe someone else will come on with something better.

A rope is a very good idea. Or perhaps a branch they can climb.
