Have you started giving these medicines? If not, start immediately.
Does your baby have a heating pad? Half of it should be under the container he is in, so he can crawl off if he is to warm. It should be set to the lowest heat setting there is.

Tell us more about your baby.
When did he aspirate? How long ago?
How long has he been on the medicine?
Is the medicine helping?
Is he eating?
Is he alert, or is he lethargic?
Is he still clicking?

All good questions above....:thumbsup The medicine should begin to work in about 36 hours from when you start giving it. In the meantime make sure he is warm at all times, and BE VERY CAREFUL when feeding him. You should go drop by drop ..... when they have pneumonia it is hard for them to breathe and swallow food at the same time. You should go very very slowly but do get his formula into him, because you don't want him to dehydrate. We are standing by to help!

First of all, I'm very thank full to you all.
He first aspirated on yesterday morning that is 7 Jan 2015 morning.
Medicine seems helping, yesterday he opened and closed his mouth too widely and continuously but now little imporved, now he opens mouth slightly and in between time gaps is increased.
He is not eating now, when I try to feed he is fighting with syringe but with god`s help he is eating medicines with less fight
Yesterday he was less active and biting hardly everything he sees but today his activity is normal and playing actively
Very less clicking compared to yesterday .

Great news...keep up the good work and be REALLY careful while feeding him, ok? :)

Yes, make sure he stays hydrated, and also try to get some calories into him. Molasses, honey, etc. are acceptable if he won't eat anything. Even rubbing it on his gums is good if he won't lick it off your finger.
As to feeding, you should be using a 1cc syringe and feed him with his head pointed down and the syringe pointed up. Here is a thread about it:

I am very glad to hear that there is a little improvement.
As others mentioned, it is very important that he eat. We can not heal, if we don't have calories. As mentioned, you may have to feed, drop by drop. Just be very careful that he doesn't aspirate again.
I will keep you both in my prayers. :Love_Icon:grouphug:Love_Icon:grouphug:Love_Icon:g rouphug:Love_Icon

Can I give rehydration formula and honey with medicines until he get complete recovery because he fight aggressively even on the smell of milk but eating little honey and rehydration formula about 0.3 ml
Then how much rehydartion formula I can give now as he is 6 weeks old and weighs about 30 grams and how often I should feed him.
And how much honey I can feed him in a time.

I'd give him as much hydration as he wants, same with honey, at least for the next few hours. You've got to keep his strength up. I would keep trying the formula though. You want him back on that as soon as possible. Btw, what kind of formula are you using?

I'm going to alert our tech guy to this thread. You might be able to see TSB directly if you give him your IP. If you know what a proxy is, I assume you know how to look up your IP. You could PM it to him, Bravo, and he could probably hook you up.

I know that others from India were able to purchase Royal Canin puppy formula powder. If not, the goats milk will work, but not alone. You need to mix it with yogurt and after a couple of days, heavy cream too. It is mixed 3 parts goats milk, 1 part full fat yogurt (make sure it has NO artificial sweeteners) and after he gets used to that you will add in 1 part heavy cream. The cream you will add a bit at a time though. Working up to 1 part cream. Is this what you are giving or are you just using goats milk?
You can email me pics at savesquirrels@sbcglobal.net and I will post them.

Thank's For The Photo's krtmanoj, They are very Beautiful Squirrel's. The only "striped" Squirrel We have here(Southeast U.S.), have very small tail's, and they are only about the size of Your hand when they're Fully Grown. They are very tame and modest, and very Friendly to Human's. In fact they are one of the very few "striped" Mammal's, in our Country other than Skunk's, and a lot of our Skunk variety's are also solid in color. Please keep the Calcium level up in Your's, it's very easy to do, just remember (from the Healthy Diet List) to only give seed's, nut's, or fruit's as Treat's only. And if you can get some Hard pieces of wood, or Cuttle bone's used for bird's, this will give them something Good to chew on. P.S. Send New picture's Everyday and we can All watch them grow up.:thumbsup

Yes, but your Palm Squirrel's have "Big Beautiful Tail's." When you were on Google did you see the 13 Lined Ground Squirrel, they look like they have been Painted By Hand. I also saw that The Palm Squirrel is Sacred, and it received it's Stripe's from Lord Rama's Finger's when He Petted One Of Them, that is Wonderful. Have You given both of them Name's?

Hi krtmanoj, Jingle and Tiger are Great Squirrel Names, we chose a long name like Annabelle for Our little Squirrel, because She is a Really Small "Southern Flying Squirrel". She will only weigh about 80 grams when She is fully grown, Her Breed is one of the Smallest on the Planet, Ha. Post in some more Photographs of Jingle and Tiger, so We can see how much they have Grown Up. When You said You went on Google, that is what I did too.:thumbsup Did You see that India is Home to the Largest Known Squirrel, over 3 feet long from nose to tail.:serene

Ohmygosh! What beautiful babies. When we were at NIAS in Bangalore a family of these little guys were outside our window every morning. Question for you--are there different types of Palm Squirrels? I ask because some we saw were pretty big and some were tiny but didn't look like young squirrels. Just wondering. These babies are lucky to have such a good mama watching out for them.

Yes, there are variety of squirrels found in India. In south India you will find mostly three-striped palm squirrels like Tiger and Jingle. In north India you can see five-striped palm squirrels, they both are same in all aspects but the difference is only their stripes.
There is a giant squirrel found throughout India called as India giant squirrel it has no stripes on it's back and it will be weigh around 2-3 kilograms. It will be look alike a rabbit when they were adult except their fur colours
