My gray squirrel is about 16 weeks old. He was in my fiancé today and my fiancé leaned against the cabinet, accidentally squashing Nuts's left front foot or leg between him and the cabinet. Nuts made a small yelp. It doesn't seem to be swollen but he is favoring it now and doesn't put much weight on it. Can I give my baby something for pain? Any suggestions on what to do? Please help. I don't want my precious baby boy to hurt!! Thank u so much!!

If you give us a weight on him we can tell you how much INFANT Ibuprofen you could give.

Also, it is incumbent upon me to ask what diet you provide. We see SO many people get it wrong and so many problems result.

I feed him HHB's, broccoli, Bok choy, etc and he gets an almond for a treat. I use your nutrition guide. He also still takes formula twice a day. I don't know how much he weighs today as I don't have a scale, but when I borrowed my moms last week he was right at 1.2 pounds.

At 544g, he could have 0.11ccs. Remember, INFANT ibuprofen. This is based on Infant Motrin which is 50mg/1.25 ml in strength. Check your bottle. If your ibuprofen is different, say so and we will recalculate. IB is dosed at 10mg/kg and can be dosed up to 30mg/kg for more serious pain. However, I'm about to disappear for a couple hours. Other people will be able to help you though.

Btw, good for you in providing a good diet!

Sorry, 0.13ccs. So a touch more. Sorry, rushing to get done.
