Max had some dried poop on his backside, I washed it, but have now noticed him dragging his backside on the ground. He is approx 11 weeks. He is on Esbilac formula with probiotics 4x a day, has HHB, and eats romaine, cabbage, apple (just 1-2 pieces per day), yellow squash, carrots, broccoli, green beans, etc. with nuts as a treat. I have noticed a couple of soft poops, but no diarrhea. What could be causing this? He is acting and eating normal expect for the dried poop and dragging his backside.

He is probably still having soft stool issues. They will butt drag to clean sticky poops off their bottoms.

here is a pic of his little butt after I cleaned him up. It wasn't a lot just a little stuck to his fur.

Now that you have him all cleaned up, keep an eye on him. The poop should not be so soft that it cakes on there - they are solid and usually just fall out! If it is soft there is some problem - dietary or otherwise and we need to now so we can try to figure out which. If he proceeds from here with normal poops, then all is well. :thumbsup

Are any of those foods new? Apples did that to mine the first few times .. Maybe the carrots?
One of mine even had loose sticky poops when I introduced a large log with bark.. He ate a ton of the bark and had white soft poops for a day. He also dragged his butt all over the log . ( Basil )

None of the foods are new, tho he has been eating and chewing on his oak log a lot more lately. He has had some pumpkin within the last week, which is new.

Maybe it was the pumpkin or the bark..
Just keep an eye on him like Critter mom said.

Thank you all so much, and sorry not sure why my last reply posted twice.
