I am so excitedy sweet babies Bernie, Lucy and Ginger have all opened their eyes over the weekend. My question is now do I need to do anything differently then I have been doing or keep doing the same. As you guys know this is my first time taking care of babies. I am still feeding esbilac every 4 hours(5-7% of body weight). I stimulate them after every feeding, and I have them in a cage with heating pads under half and I keep it covered so it is dark in a quiet room. I have been letting them walk around in their room. They are still rather awkward. I would like to know about hat age they are. Any help is appreciated. The first picture is Bernie, the second is Lucy and I will have to get a picture of Ginger and post it. Thank you everyone in advance.

Eyes open at 5 weeks pretty much like clock work so you can gage their age by that.
Once eyes are open we suggest introducing them to a good quality rodent block so they can start getting used to it.
It is the first solid food you want to introduce them to and have them eating it well before any other solid food is given.
Let them have their formula as long as they will take it, don't attempt to wean them.
Congrats on the eye openings... :dance

They will be much more active, get into more things, and might be a bit skittish at first as they get used to their vision.

Nothing special needs to be done, keep doing what you have been doing.
When they are more steady on their feet in about two week I would go
a head and introduce hhb to them (squirrel block) and some branches for
them to gnaw on so they can keep their teeth trimmed down. :)
