Last night my Brothers cat was playing with a SFS.....Long Story Short....I got the Squirrel last night put it in a pet carrier with a little bed/nest to sleep in to keep it warm and I have it in the garage seperate from my SFS. I have a SFS now for 8 years and she is doing fine......So the one that is injured from last night lived through the night.....This morning it was nibbling on an acorne and some sunflower seeds....took water from a dropper, did not eat any ot the fruit or greens that I put for it. I am guessing that this little one is an adult Squirrel or one that is all ready eating because it knew to nibble the acorne and because of the size of the tali and color of teeth...could be wrong but that is what I am feeling. It seems to have 2 back injured legs....drags both has use of the front hands. Lays on its sid a lot does not sit up much. I did not think it would make it through the night but this little one has been blessed so far. I am not sure if the cat injured it or found it injured! It is week...sleeps a lot and does respond to my voice. I have not handled it in my hands as of yet....not sure how it will react. It has pooped and looks normal. It might have little bugs possible mites....did not see on its body just saw several on floor of carrier that was out side before I put little one in it ...so it could be tiny bugs from outside. I will try to check in to this to see if on its body. I would like to know what I can do to help this little one. I was wondering what types of disease they can get in the wild....trying to determine if this is an injury or illness. can not see any bites or puncture because I have not handled it to look as of yet...will need to check this...... PLEASE ANY INFO AND HELP would be so appreciated.
Thank You

Will try to alert someone in your area to see if they can help. Do you have any cipro (human meds) or baytril? Cat bites can be fatal and ab's must be started immediately. Please put heat under half of enclosure, as well. Even adults can use the heat when injured. Can you see any puncture wounds/blood? Or is it just dragging the legs? Will need to be seen by a vet, most likely, to check for spinal injury.

Ok.... Heat is on ....no blood.....does not seem to have any puncture marks or bites.....does have fleas and I think mites......slept but was aware when I was looking through the hair....looks like it has urinated also because fur in that area is yellowed. It was cleaning its self in leg and arm area. I do see some spots of skin color looking red in color in some places....not pusy or irited looking....perhaps from the fleas and mites!
Found some antiobotics.
Clindamycin HCL 150 MG Capsule...Generic for Cleocin HCL
Clindamycin HcL 300 MG Capsules...Generic for Cleocin HCL
Sulfamethoxazole-TMP DS Tablet...Generic for Bactrim DS
Still looking to see if we have other antiobotics.
Breathing a bit off......not sure keeps mouth normal while breathing
