I've been giving my baby girl and boy organic baby food puree. I've made sure they have been high in calcium...I got some mouse and rodent cubes from pet supermarket there made by LM but my babies do not like it.I've been trying different foods for them they love mushrooms and watermelon but every thing else I've tried they just pee on. so what im trying to ask in the mean time is baby food o.k for the mean time?

Have you seen the healthy diet thread?

Any of that in baby food form should be fine.

What kind of blocks are you giving? Providing a very high quality block is a must, and they must eat them. We can give tips if they won;t. Have you tried Henry's, what's considered the gold standard here?

How old is the sq? When very young, it's formula only, then at 8 weeks blocks are introduced, though they generally won;t eat them at first, then after they are eating them consistently, and only then, veggies are introduced, then fruit and nuts only as treats.

Really good chance that those blocks are cheaply made crap. Many are. Never heard of them. Can you list the ingredients? If any of it is corn or seeds, they're probably causing more harm than good.

Unfortunately, the LM blocks are not good. They are made by the Hartz company. Everything they make is bad. :shakehead

The best blocks are Henry's high protein blocks for baby squirrels up to 6 months old. They have concentrated vitamins and minerals so they only need one block per day.

Other rodent blocks that can be fed free choice are Harland Teklad, Oxbow or Mazuri Rodent blocks.
