Eye sealed shut

I found two babies yesterday. They are both pretty malnourished but one seems to be struggling a little more. Their eyes are opened but the boy squirrel has only one eye open and the other looks sealed shut. I wiped his face off with a soft wet rag and he opened up the sealed eye and now it is looking sealed shut again. Should I leave it alone or should I keep trying? Help please!!

I would leave it alone,, for them both eyes do not open at tha same time,, just wait nd see ;)

Could you post a pic of the eyes so we can make sure the eye is not
infected? and we are just waiting for them to open naturally.

Wiping the eye with a warm wet cloth will not hurt him. If you can get a picture it would be very helpful.:grouphug
