When you say "newborn", how old would you say he is? Fur or no fur?

Furred or pinkie?

Her bio says pinkie.
I just emailed her to come back on the board we are looking for help.

Uhm guys, it's really late for pinkies here....any chance it may be a mouse or rat versus a squirrel?

PLEASE tell me we are not entering a third season of really late babies. I'm begging you, PLEASE tell me no.

How are you caring for him currently? Are you providing heat and hydration? Here's basic care:

I'll PM someone (Milo's Mom)in PA, perhaps she'll know someone. PA is apparently a very hard state.

Have they been provided with the basic care instructions?

How far are they willing to travel?

This is soooo not good.

Have they looked for others in the area where this one was found?

They have had him for a week after they cut down a tree and didn't realize there was a den in it.

This is the email that I got about the baby. I have sent one asking how far they could travel and if they have looked for anyone in their area.
" Here are a couple pics of the squirrel. Unfortunately we cut down a tree for firewood last Tuesday not knowing a den was present. We have been caring for the little guy ever since. Luckily I was on vacation last week and could watch him through the day. I would love to find someone to care for him and give him a good home. We have been able to keep him alive to this point by following directions on internet but it may be mostly luck. Any help would be appreciated."

This is the name and number off the PAWR list for the county Chippy is located in. Thing I don't like is that she also does raptors. I do not know her or anything about her. Waynesboro is 45 miles from them (approx.), but it looks like lots of back roads and it's a little over an hour away.

I am 110 miles away and approx. 1 hr 49 minutes
