Hello all,
I am rehabbing an unreasonable squirrel and I noticed she cordially waits to go back to humongous cage before relieving herself. Is it possible to litter train her? Is it save to put a small tray of clumping litter in her cage to try?

Unfortunately, your squirrel has an unreasonable rehabber who keeps taking all of her very special smell-goods out of her cage, leaving her no choice as to freshen the place up every time she goes back. :grin2
I would not use clumping cat litter, but you might want to try putting some Carefresh bedding in a pan for her to use. Put something stinkiy of hers in there to "prime" it.

Someone at the gathering this past year had theirs litter trained (sorry I don't remember exactly who!). They put wire over the carefresh in the pan and so they don't get it everywhere

Yes, Nana3 uses inexpensive metal baking pans and puts hardware cloth over the pan of litter with the edges of the hardware cloth tucked into the pan over the litter so there are no sharp edges.
