If you are feeding HHB and they are eating them daily no other supplement is needed.
Please keep in mind that to much calcium is just as bad as not enough calcium.

Thank you, yes he is eating his HHBs.

George gets up at about 6 am and has an open cage so he explores for about an hour, gets one HHB at about 7 am roams and plays out of cage for about another hour and a half to two hours. At 9 am he has to go in the cage and I leave him with a fresh salad (his fav is cauliflower, red cabbage, and mushrooms but also likes, endive, squash, avocado and kale) . He comes back out at about 3 pm and gets another HHB at about 4 pm roams and plays till about 6 pm gets his snack either fruit (piece of apple, lime or a berry), a piece of cheese, plain yogurt or 2 nuts, he is in for the night at about 7:30 - 8 pm but I leave half an HHB just in case he gets up during the night looking for something to munch on (and he eats it just about every night)

Any tips/ideas for the wild foods?
He has not touched anything I have offered from outside

My squirrels love wild plants from outside....... I give them Hibiscus & Bottle Brush (entire plant: branch, leaf & flowers). They also like to eat pine cones and acorns fresh from the tree never frozen. I often order or get from friends fruit branches for them to chew on, apple is a favorite.

Thanks for the tip on the bottle brush, I have one I was just about to cut back to nothing but since it's good for the squees I'll cut some branches for the bratty boys to enjoy.

what Rhapsody said - if he eats HHBs, he doesn't need supplementing.

Just wanted to say that according to some sources (trustworthy sources) = reptocal is not fine enough for squirrels. The particles are bigger than should be for sqs and can be rough on their GIT.
Besides, as you can see - there are all sorts of other ingredients in it (since he is getting some of those from HHBs, if he consumes reptocal he may overdose on those - and too much of a good thing is bad)

Human cal - it can be confusing with the elemental calcium etc and all possible additives like D and stuff.

Yes I have, George has refused everything I have offered, other than the branches/sticks he like those. I know fresh is better but I was wondering if it would be okay if I tried these dried wild flowers if he wont eat the fresh or until he starts eating fresh

You can try dried flowers as treats, but he really needs to eat in this order for best nutrition.
Some times we just have to pull out the touch love on them and they will eat.

He only gets one treat at the end of the day. Either a small amount of fruit (maybe a grape, a slice of apple, melon, or banana, a berry or a slice of citrus) or some dairy (piece of cheese or a little plain yogurt) or 2 nuts. I try to alternate the treats and not give the same every night
The only problem I am having is the wild foods. I will keep trying though

Looks like he is already on an excellent diet!
If he eats HHBs and most veggies well - you've pretty much won the battle.
If he eats plain yogurt - that's even better, because he gets good stuff for his gut flora.
You can give him plain yogurt every other day even (unless he gets bored) - it's very good.

So, honestly, if he eats the way you describe it above - :thumbsup:thumbsup.

as for wild foods - it may take time, but it will kick in as he gets older.
Try maple branches, oak branches (and all that stuff on the list).

The most important thing is that you have a solid foundation already - HHBs and veggies (and even some plain yogurt)!
