Sorry this is such short notice but Cornelius' hematoma has spread to his face and his eye is going to suffer some serious damage if he doesn't go to the vet right away in the morning. Can anyone send me normal blood values for a grey? And will anyone be on around the time of the appt. (930 am) for dosing info if the vet needs it? Had our dane in the vet for an emergency appt at midnight, mentioned that home treatment was not working for our little squirrel friend and that I needed to find a vet who would treat him. He was kind enough to agree to attempt to treat him...Also, for dosing it sounds like he will be injecting a steroid as well as treating with antibiotic after draining the hematoma so if anyone has specific info on dosing steroids (in general) when the time comes it would be much appreciated.
Again sorry it is such short notice but some help could save his life. Thanks in advance.

I hope you can get your answers needed once you learn what drugs will
be prescribed, remember one needs a weight for proper dosing.

Dexamethasone and prednisone are both squirrel safe.
Tramadol can be used for pain with these too.
