I am looking to buy a full spectrum light, on the advice of a seasoned squirrel parent. Can anyone please point me in the right direction of where to buy this light bulb, and does it go by any other name?

Most pet supplies will carry some brand of full spectrum lighting,
PetSmart, Petco and I believe Walmart also carries some type.
You will usurally find them in the reptile section.
Repti-glo is a well known name and carried by many
pet supplies. Exo Terra, Hagen Exo are also products
of Repti-glo full spectrum lighting.

Thank you for your help. Are there any certain requirements I should look for (wattage etc)?

If there are any local reptile shows going on around you they will have the lights as well...:grin3

Can you read through this so I don't have to retype?

My vet said just to ensure it has both UVA and UVB rays. :) I got mine from Petsmart. Also? Make sure you get the non-heating type. You don't want your little one to get too toasty.
