I have a squirrel that's around 11 weeks old about 3 days ago one of my friends stepped on her I didn't get to see where she got injured since I came running when I heard her screaming her body was flipping around and she was having seizures she also had a bump around a centimeter high. I immediately gave her to a friend whos experienced with animals he examined her but has no idea whether she has a skull fracture or internal bleeding. Since I got her back the swelling has gone down and she's eating, she can also move all her limbs but she can't stand up. All she does is lay all day and twitch around. About an hour ago she was flopping around and screaming which I'm assuming was another seizure ( way more violent then the rest). I'm honestly really worried and have no idea what to do with her to stop the seizing. I bought baby ibroprofen but won't give it to her in case she does have internal bleeding, I would give her to a rehabilitator but i don't want to separate her from her sisters incase she has a chance for release in the future. Is there anything I can do to stop the seizing ? What exactly should I do to make her suffer less? I'm not even sure if she's gonna make it :(

Where are you located? That baby needs professional help if possible. Do you have any molasses? A bit on her gums will help after each seizure. It is not a solution but might help get her through until we find her help.

I live in Miami Florida , i want to give her to a rehabilitator but I'm scared that they'll euthanize her if she has permanent brain damage I've called different vets but they said they won't work with her. Thank you for the advice I'll start giving her it after seizures.

Are you talking about the same squirrel?
Last night one of our friends brought over a squirrel they stepped on in the woods, she seems to be completely fine except she's in pain and has a large bump on her head. Is there anything I can give her to relive the pain ?

Nope the one with the baby ibroprofen is doing just fine now I'm going to release her in about a week since she seems old enough to release she's no where near as severe. The other one in this post is seizing and can't walk I've had her since she was about 4 week old. I'd understand the confusion it's a coincidence I got a new squirrely with somewhat the same injury right after mines got hurt.

Did you contact the guy that Maura suggested?
Don't release too early if you aren't sure of the age. She
may seem big enough, I had 4 eyes closed babies all over
200 grams, so size really is nothing compared to their age.
Yeah we don't often see a squirrel stepped on by a friend, let alone two. :thumbsup
Perhaps you need new friends, :rolf j/k
