Okay, maybe a silly question, but with my poor planning, I am running low on Esbilac. I may have enough for tonight's feeding but that is all. My local pet store is out and the next store is an hour away. Now understand if push comes to shove I will drive, but I have ordered more and it will be in sometime tomorrow, but UPS comes when it comes. What else can I feed my babies they are about 7 weeks old? I have been putting OXBOW in there nest to try and get them use to that, but really don't think they are eating it yet. I am feeling them 3 to 4 times a day about 10 to 12 ml each feeding. I have some fruit but didn't know if I should introduce that in there diet yet or not??? Also, I just hate the idea of them going without... LOL If you just say get your rear in car and drive you won't hurt my feelings, last but not least my local pet store has a Knock off brand to the Esbilac, if you think that will do for just a day of feeding then I can run out and get that... Wow this post is a lot longer than I expected.

Pet stores aren't the only places that carry it. If you have a Tractor Supply or other Co-Op, Farm or Feed store they might have it. Call around and hope you find some.

What kind of Oxbow food are you giving them? --squirrel block? If you need to supplement them before the Esbilac arrives tomorrow...... just give some Homemade Pedialyte to drink at their normal 5-7% of body weight every 4 hours.
Homemade Pedialyte:
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt

I would not give him Goats Milk for one day, then go back to to Esbilac... that could upset his tummy.
That is why I suggested the Homemade Pedialyte over any other formula for such a short time.

I've always head that GM is so gentle that it's always a good choice.

It is for feeding, but since they are getting the new formula in tomorrow there is no need to
risk it and feed the GM for two or three feedings and maybe upset the tummy or poop.

Just for future reference, many vets offices sale it, too.

The Vet had a premixed version of the Esbilac that I used for the one day. Thanks for all the info
