I found a fllea spray for small animals. Since we have the windows open and it is cooler out I noticed kazee scratching and he has a few fleas. Did not want to use a powder.
Also when using dawn is it left on or rinsed off?
thanks for any replies.:grin2

ALWAYS make sure that Dawn is rinsed completely - it is NOT good if ingested.

I have never had flea issues - Revolution may be a good option...

I have always sworn by Zodiac Flea & Tick spray for Cats & Kittens. VERY good and harmless to the squirrel. Sargent makes a flea shampoo that is good, also.
Please don't use Frontline or Advantage.....some squirrels handle it well, but some are allergic and die from it. No way of knowing which type of squirrel you've got.

The pet stores around here suck. But we did find "ultra care spray fir small animals." Active ingredients are .06% pyrethrins and .60% piperonyl butoxide.
I just put some on him and a flea jumped off. Now I just want to keep an eye on him.
