I just received a call from a lady who has a squirrel that was attacked by two dogs with possible two broken legs (they are just dangling in the back ) --IMO if legs are not broken the squirrel may have a spinal injury causing the temporary paralyzation of the legs which would require Prednisone, which I have on hand in 5 mg.

I will let you know more once the squirrel arrives and I can psychically examine it in person.

I have him now and it does appears to me that he has a spinal injury with swelling that is making it impossible for him to move his back legs atm. He does have a sweet disposition, so taking care of him should be easy. Nancy has dosed the Prednisone for me, so I am starting him on it along with some homemade pedialyte for hydration over night.

The little guy is doing good today. He just drank his last round of homemade pedialyte --took 5 cc.
I will be feeding diluted Esbilac at next feeding time. Prednisone is being given, now we wait. :Love_Icon:Love_Icon
